Kongthoranee Sor Sommai was riding a seven-fight win streak before he lost against Superlek Kiatmoo9, but now the 27-year-old is poised to jump-start another run through ONE Championship.
The fighter training out of Sor Sommai gym recently held an open workout for Thai media and answered the questions on everyone’s mind ahead of his flyweight Muay Thai fight against Tagir Khalilov on Saturday morning, November 9, at Lumpinee Stadium at ONE 169 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Khalilov is a gritty Russian fighter who’s been in the ring with many top-contenders and ONE World Champions. So, he wants to prove his stature by overcoming the rising star in Kongthoranee.
Kongthoranee, however, promised not to let his supporters down as he enters this pivotal fight.
