ONE Friday Fights 139: Full Card Revealed For January 23

Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium hosts fourteen battles where most fighters chase the US$100,000 contract that separates hopefuls from the main roster.

There is something democratic about the grind, the way ONE Championship’s weekly Asia primetime series offers the same opportunity to seasoned veterans and teenage prodigies alike.

On Friday, January 23, ONE Friday Fights 139 will feature fourteen matchups across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA — fourteen chances for fighters to transform their careers with a single performance.

The mathematics are simple and brutal. Most will leave Lumpinee Stadium with nothing more than another line on their record. A select few may walk away with six-figure contracts and spots on the global roster, their lives fundamentally altered by three rounds or less of Muay Thai.

In the headline attraction, Thai veteran Worapon Lukjaoporongtom squares off with Myanmar powerhouse Soe Lin Oo in a bantamweight Muay Thai clash that pits complete skill against relentless destruction.

The twenty-three-year-old Worapon has established himself as one of the division’s most well-rounded fighters through his extensive ONE Friday Fights campaign, building a reputation around a devastating left body kick and elite clinch skills that allow him to dominate at every range.

The southpaw’s most recent outing saw him fall by decision to Julio Lobo, and formidable opposition provides either the stage for redemption or confirmation that certain ceilings exist for a reason.

Across from him stands Soe Lin Oo, a thirty-three-year-old nicknamed “Man of Steel” for qualities that transcend mere toughness — his relentless pressure and granite chin have earned him a spot on ONE Championship’s main roster through performances that prioritize spectacle over caution.

The National Lethwei Champion brings 71 knockouts among his 74 victories, a finishing rate that suggests patience isn’t his preferred virtue. His aggressive boxing and constant forward pressure have earned him both bonuses and his contract, and facing a man still chasing that very prize offers its own psychological advantages.

Before that main event, French phenom Sandro Bosi collides with Thai technician Petsangwan Sor Samarngarment in strawweight Muay Thai action that promises a compelling clash of styles and generations.

Still just seventeen years old, Bosi has already captured a Channel 7 Championship belt, becoming the first and only international fighter to claim this prestigious Thai title.

Nicknamed “Alek,” the fearless young striker brings explosive punching power and a high fight IQ that allows him to adapt mid-battle, most recently showcased through a spectacular first-round knockout at ONE Friday Fights 124.

The twenty-two-year-old Petsangwan offers a contrasting approach built on patience and precision. Training at PK Saenchai Muaythaigym alongside elite teammates like ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai, the Thai striker uses his lanky frame to control distance with accurate body kicks before dominating in the clinch with well-timed elbows. It represents the classic matchup — youthful aggression against measured experience, explosive finishing power against technical superiority.

The featured bout carries its own intrigue, a flyweight Muay Thai showdown between battle-tested veteran Khunponnoi Sor Sommai and undefeated teenage sensation Rustam “Tomahawk” Yunusov.

The thirty-three-year-old Khunponnoi brings more than 150 professional fights worth of accumulated wisdom, currently riding a six-fight winning streak that suggests age hasn’t yet presented its bill.

The southpaw pressure fighter and older brother of Seksan Or Kwanmuang has built a fearsome reputation around his powerful straight left and devastating left body kick, with 27 career knockout victories proving he understands the quickest path to victory.

Yunusov represents the new generation at just eighteen years old, a Russian southpaw who’s looked absolutely sensational through his perfect 15-0 professional record with 11 knockouts.

Training with the Tomahawk Kamilov Team, he combines crisp technical skills with intelligent footwork and a fast-paced attack that has overwhelmed every opponent unfortunate enough to face him. The undefeated record means nothing until someone takes it away, and Khunponnoi possesses both the experience and power to author that particular chapter.

The full card features fourteen such moments — fourteen opportunities for fighters to prove they belong among the sport’s elite, fourteen chances to earn the contract that transforms aspiration into reality.

Some will seize their moment. Others will provide the opposition necessary for someone else’s triumph. Such is the mathematics of combat sports, where only a select few can climb while the rest provide the rungs of the ladder.
