In addition to the rest of the fights on its upcoming card, ONE Championship has unveiled its Muay Thai lineup for ONE Fight Night 30, set for Saturday, April 5, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Headlining the card is a ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai World Championship bout. Divisional king Roman Kryklia puts his gold on the line against British challenger Lyndon Knowles. The Ukrainian champion brings an impressive 50-7 record with 28 knockouts into the contest. While Knowles makes his promotional debut with a stellar 77-16 record and multiple WBC Muay Thai World Titles.
In featherweight action, Thai striking veteran Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong faces Scotland’s Nico Carrillo. Sitthichai enters with vast experience, boasting a 129-36 record. But Carrillo has established himself as a rising force with a 27-4 record. This will be Carrillo’s first fight at featherweight. He failed to defeat Nabil Anane for the Interim ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title in January.
Thai legend Seksan Or Kwanmuang, known as “The Man Who Yields to No One,” returns in a special 142-pound bout. He faces American striker Asa Ten Pow. Seksan’s remarkable 203-75 record and four world championships speak to his legendary status, while Ten Pow brings a 14-4 record to what promises to be an action-packed contest.
The lightweight division sees British talent George Jarvis collide with Spanish-Moroccan striker Mouhcine Chafi. Both fighters bring impressive credentials, with Jarvis holding WBC Muay Thai World Championship experience and a 26-4 record, while Chafi enters as a two-time WBC Muay Thai World Champion with a 32-7 record.
Rounding out the Muay Thai card, Thai veteran Thongpoon PK Saenchai welcomes Moroccan prospect Elmehdi El Jamari to ONE. Despite his promotional debut, El Jamari shouldn’t be underestimated in this strawweight fight. He’ll carry a near-perfect 26-1 record against Thongpoon’s battle-tested 80-25 slate.
