Lamnamoonlek Tded99 has built a career dominating the five-round traditional Muay Thai scene. Now he’s going to test his skills under ONE Championship’s three-round entertainment format on its highly popular ONE Friday Fights weekly series.
The 26-year-old makes his ONE Championship debut against Kongsuk Fairtex at ONE Friday Fights 97 — ONE Lumpinee 97 for those in Thailand — in a 138-pound fight.
Lamnamoonlek is the recipient of the 2023 Rajadamnern Stadium Fight of the Year and the 2021 Sports Authority of Thailand Fight of the Year awards. He’s also won various titles, including a WMC lightweight belt and an S-1 super featherweight belt.
Some of Lamnamoonlek’s more notable performances have come against Kiewpayak Jitmuangnon, who he’s currently 2-3 against, Petchdam Petchyindee Academy, and Mathias Gallo.
After his run through the stadium circuit, Lamnamoonlek began fighting for Rajadamnern Stadium’s RWS show. There, he went undefeated in 11 fights.
In his ONE Championship debut, he faces Kongsuk, who has been a mainstay in the Friday Fights series since 2023. Kongsuk has faced and beaten notable fighters such as Yodlekpetch Or Atchariya, Petchsukumvit Boi Bangna, and Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthongburi.
The ONE Friday Fights series gives fighters the opportunity to fight for a $100,000 contract with ONE Championship. So although this is Lamnamoonlek’s promotional debut, he’s not technically part of the organization yet.
